Solo Challenges

This is where we will be adding Solo Challenge events.

These are events that we no longer run as actual races but we still have a stock of medals for.

It's in order to give runners a chance to earn these medals even though the events no longer exist, we can recoup the cost of these medals and not have to store them anymore or just bin them which is a waste.

We will have an entry system with spaces based on how many spare medals we have available.

The cost of entry will be £10 and you can run the course in your own time in one go or over a few sessions if you prefer with no timed cut offs like the real events.

Then you send us a link or screenshot of your Strava/GPX file or other evidence that you ran the actual route.

These are not Virtual runs and you must run the actual route to be sent a medal.

You must enter the event and pay then you are free to run the route anytime up to the end of the year. Evidence must be dated from after you entered the event.

We are NOT encouraging you to travel to routes during the current restrictions, if you sign up to an event now to make sure you get a space/medal we expect you to be grown ups and not do the actual run till restrictions are lifted.

We will not be posting medals till restrictions are lifted.

Some events may also have limited amounts of T-Shirts available and these will be added to the Challenge Running Shop as a separeate purchase subject to numbers and sizes available.

We will provide as much info of each race route including gpx files and suggested parking and so on for each event.

Be aware we have not personally run each of these routes in a couple of years but they are used trails and you should be able to follow the gpx files and navigate around any obstructions that are new.

You run them at your own risk.
